Our story

We are 2 Tone Cafe & Simmer Down Restaurant, a dedicated team, committed to providing exceptional English and Caribbean dining experiences.  Our focus is on giving you quality food, not fast food and a genuine desire to exceed expectations.  Nestled in the secluded courtyard of 2Tone Village this family run cafe & restaurant provides good food, good times and great service. Home of the Jerk Sausage 2Tone Cafe offers all day breakfast, and more, including Caribbean meals. The restaurant offers an enticing menu of good 'home' style cuisine for those new to Caribbean food and the connoisseur. 

Due to a number of circumstances the restaurant is only available for parties of 6 plus, booked in advanced with a deposit of £5 per person, but you are welcome to join us in the Cafe during the days Wednesday to Sunday

Alph & Angela took over 2 Tone Cafe & Simmer Down Restaurant in  2012.   We're passionate about bringing together English and Caribbean flavours, and we're looking forward to welcoming you.

Perfect party venue!

 

Held my 60th birthday party in the Two Tone Village with live music in Knights and food in the cafe.  As a regular visitor to the cafe I was confident it would be good but it exceeded expectations! Alph, Angela and their team couldn't have been more helpful on the night and loads of the guests complimented the vibe of the village and the quality of the food, which was a mix of Carribean curries and party food. We had a great night, so thank you!
